Growing
Introduction:
This section assumes you are looking at our site because you want the
web to work for you and enable your business to grow via the internet.
We give a brief description of the three main types of site to get
your ideas flowing.
All of these can be discussed at our initial consultation, and
remember - we offer this without charge nor obligation - you have
nothing to loose - arrange one today.
Brochure:
A static unchanging site typically consists of a few pages explaining
what you do and how you do it - you can think of this as an electronic
brochure with some very important advantages: it can be accessed from
anywhere via a simple web search. Do not underestimate the power of
this, especially if you operate in a niche market and people expect to
travel a distance to find what they want. This type of site is
normally very quick to build and costs little. Of course, even static
sites may be changed by contacting us with your updated requirements.
Dynamic:
A dynamic site is one that changes between visits - it could alter
according to the season of the year, or based on where the person
browsing is located, or what a visitor looked at on a previous visit.
For example, you may want to show news related to your
business type.
E-Commerce:
If you sell products, you may require an online shopping site. You can
allow visitors to view your products and descriptions and maybe even
place online orders. This can range from the simple to the very
complex. We can offer systems where you maintain your own web
catalogue - if you need to change a price, add new products or remove
existing products, then you can. No need to contact us unless you want
to.
We can combine any of these to form the site that is right for you. A
site rarely sits solely within one of these categories.
